Ever seen 'The House Doctor' on TV? Ever wished you could invite a House Doctor into your home to help you sell your house? Well you can! Our service is directed at people wishing to sell their home and who want to get it in tip-top condition for prospective buyers. Staging is not interior design as some people think. Using an Interior Designer or decorating your house is a way of personalising your living space. You decorate and choose furniture to suit your own personal taste. Staging is the act of depersonalising, taking your home out of the house without leaving it sterile or uninviting. It's the process of organizing any home, inside and out so that buyers can see what they are getting and can, after a simple walk-through, start to imagine their family living inside those walls.

What do I mean by this?
Detach, De-clutter, Depersonalize.
Selling your home can be a very traumatic time. We live in in our homes; they have a personality and a heartbeat! By making the decision to sell, we need to detach ourselves from our home and start looking through a potential buyer's eyes. From the minute you decide to sell your home...you have to think of it as someone else's property and that you are only living in it until it sells.
You have to detach yourself from it.
Staging is the process of preparing your home to appeal to a potential buyer for a quick sale. You need to put on a show that will WOW potential buyers.
It could be as simple as cleaning and rearranging the furniture and decluttering but it can also involve spending money - you may have to do some painting, improving the landscaping and/or adding furniture and plants to show off the potential of your house. It's amazing the high proportion of buyers who find it difficult to imagine their belongings in a space when that space is cluttered with someone else's belongings. So anything we can do to make this easier for the buyer has to be a good thing.
Selling your home also involves depersonalising....taking away the many family photographs, the religious artwork, the kids drawings pinned to the fridge etc.
A staged house has to be neutral enough to appeal to a wide variety of potential buyers. This process has been proved to be very effective in successfully selling homes.
